Olive, Tarnish, Paper Birch & Ina’s Red
It’s reading week and I’ve been busy taking advantage of my time off from school. I decided to brave the cold and start the dye pots up again to get a head start on experimenting and creating new colourways for the coming spring. Unfortunately it began snowing today and we are now expecting freezing temperatures for the rest of the week along with an unknown amount of snow. We’ve had a rather mild, rainy winter so far but of course during the one week I have off it needs to freeze and snow and make it impossible for me to get anywhere with this huge pile of undyed yarn. Frozen yarn anyone?
Back in January I began designing a new website & over all identity for Sweet Fiber Yarns (formally Yarn Candy, Sweet Fiber). Part of this includes properly photographing and organizing colours for the website. I couldn’t resist sharing this set of four colours. Olive & Tarnish are two new colours for this year while Paper Birch & Ina’s Red are old loved ones.
I think they were made for each other, don’t you?
